We need your help in hiring new employees. Senior recruiters, talent acquisition specialists and onboarding coordinators are needed now.
The COVID-19 pandemic is the test case that no one wanted.
For the last couple of years, employers have grappled with a shrinking talent pool. But the global pandemic has accelerated this talent crunch by a significant degree and it looks like there is no relief in sight. In fact, in January 2022, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that 4.5 million Americans left their jobs in November . That is the highest level since the agency began tracking this data in 2000.
We are doing all we can to hire the right talent as we continue to grow. For that task we are hiring several recruiting jobs to help.
To help find talent for all the open positions we have we need to hire additional Talent Acquisition Specialists. This role is vital in hiring new employees.
A Talent Acquisition Specialist helps find, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs. This includes entry level jobs on our assembly lines, experienced professional/technical, IT, support staff and hourly, and possibly management.
At times there may be a need to utilize the services of employment agencies. Responsibilities include placing employment ads in appropriate sources, including the internet and print media. In addition, ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including EEO statistics. At times you will be required to attend recruiting events. This may include recruitment from colleges, technical schools and job fairs.
To be successful as a Talent Acquisition Specialist you must have in depth knowledge of sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster and Social Media. You'll need a deep understanding of sourcing candidates through various means and channels.
This may also be referred as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter.
We are also currently hiring a Senior Recruiter. To be considered for the Senior Recruiter job you should have a least 7 years of in-depth experience with current full cycle recruiting. And a proven track record recruiting for professional, sales, technical and operations type roles. In addition, you will need at least 2 years of experience developing Talent Acquisition strategies and processes/procedures.
Hiring new employees is great. But we also need to make sure they are happy and successful once they are hired. Once we hire employees we need onboarding coordinators. The main objective of an onboarding coordinator is to ensure that new employees have the tools and understanding to be successful within the organization. The onboarding coordinator will work as the liaison between new employees, contingent workers and our company.
First, you will provide new workers with a warm welcome and a plan to experience success. You'll explain all the company basics like where to park, where to take breaks, how to request vacation etc. Next, you will meet with the training team and on-site staffing agency to create procedures for the new workers. Finally, you will continually check on new workers for the first two weeks to assist in conquering any challenges they are facing and monitor the hands on training in the department. This is all while documenting and providing feedback to the Superintendent / Department Manager and Human resources in regards to employee concerns and how they are progressing.
Of course, to be a successful onboarding coordinator you should enjoy talking with others and making people feel welcome. A positive attitude and an understanding about our company, our products and practices is vital for success.
