Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Computer Technology and/or Engineering we would love for you to apply.  Six Sigma / Lean certifications are also required. 

We prefer engineers with experience in product design in assembly of HVAC equipment. But we are also open to those that have engineering experience in the automotive or appliance industry.

Waller, TX Engineering Jobs

Waller, TX is located just outside of Houston.  Our manufacturing plant in Waller is the 3rd largest factory in the United States. We opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman. Our plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands. And here we have several openings for HVAC engineers at multiple levels. 

At our Waller, TX facility we have opportunities for engineering interns as well as seasoned engineers. And Waller, TX is a great place to live and work. 

As an HVAC engineer your job responsibilities will include creating, revising, and sustaining HVAC product designs, utilizing knowledge of mechanical engineering principles. In addition, you'll develop and manage project schedules related to new and existing product designs.  Working as a team, you will analyze product designs using tolerance, thermodynamic, finite element, and computational fluid dynamic analyses. Project management skills are required to document product designs by preparing bills of materials, cost analyses, drawings, and engineering change requests. Knowledge Required for Our HVAC Engineering Jobs

First, you will need a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of mechanical design theory and practice.  In addition, you will need experience with engineering change processes and CAD systems. And you will need software skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project.  Of course, as an engineer we need effective analytical and problem-solving skills as well as effective communication skills. 

Preferred skills include experience with design for six sigma (DFSS), design failure modes and effects analysis (DFMEA), design of experiments methodology, tolerance analysis, value engineering principles, and parts standardization principles. A black belt or green belt certification is also preferred.  And if you have knowledge of specifications and standards used in the HVAC industry you will be given preference over other applicants.

Our brand Motili, in Denver, Colorado is looking for software engineers to support our HVAC software solutions.  If you are a software developer with experience writing high quality, maintainable, and highly usable web applications (in any language, prefer JavaScript with experience in NodeJS / ReactJS / React Native / AngularJS), Motili is a great company to work for. We are also looking for engineers that have experience in DevOps, building and maintaining cloud based infrastructure.  AWS is preferred. In addition, we'd love someone with mobile development experience for both Android and IOS. Additionally, SQL development experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL). And of course, excellent written and oral communication skills and one that enjoy working as a part of a team to accomplish goals.
