Our Accelerated Management Program (AMP) is a structured and centrally managed entry level development program designed to train future Branch Managers and Territory Sales Managers. AMP associates are selected through our college recruiting process.  If you will be graduating this May 2022 with a degree in the areas of Production (Manufacturing) Engineering, Design Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Accounting, or Finance this is a fantastic opportunity.  And with Daikin, it's not just a job it's a career.

More About Our Accelerated Management Program

Our Accelerated Management Program is a twelve-month program. And you will work hands-on from the ground up and be provided with the opportunity to explore the facets of our company that could fit your personal skills and interests. Daikin’s Accelerated Management Program includes two focus areas of Branch Operations and Outside Sales Track.

Our AMP program consists of three stages. Each stage will be supported by a combination of job experiences, formal training and mentoring.

Stage 1 - Accelerated Management Program

Stage one will focus on exposure to our branch and sales operations and organization structure. During a one week orientation at the Daikin Texas Technology Park in Waller, TX you'll attend training, networking events and meet with divisional leaders. You'll learn more about Daikin, the Goodman Business Unit division, the HVAC industry and will learn about the AMP program and expectations. 

Stage 2 - Accelerated Management Program

During Stage two, you will continue learning about the various positions within the branch. And you will ride along with sales managers to observe the sales process and start to perform tasks in specified areas.

Stage 3 - Accelerated Management Program

In the final stage you'll continue on your designated career path based upon business recommendations and your individual career objectives. Also, you will gain a deeper understanding, exposure and ability to independently function in either the Branch Manager or TSM roles. Through your level of understanding and abilities you will expand within your track and become more autonomous.

Branch Operations Focus

Branch operations fit well with those that are service oriented. You'll focus your career on service oriented and relationship-based selling. From the ground up you will work to ensure you have a solid foundation of products, operational and customer knowledge to excel in your career.

Branch operations include counter sales, warehouse tasks, inside showroom sales and other aspects.  You'll work face-to-face with customers providing product knowledge and learning our systems and processes. In the warehouse you will work hand-on to learn even more about our products including our shipping and receiving processes. Showroom sales expand your sales knowledge to help you become a successful branch leader.  Relationship building is a key aspect of this important role. In addition, you'll gain leadership skills and even learn about pricing and inventory. 

Outside Sales Focus

In outside sales you'll help drive business development and prospecting. You'll be given an actual territory in one of our designated markets to help fast-track your specific training.  This will help teach you vital skills to propel your career.  You'll learn how to effectively manage priorities and learn the importance of meeting the customer’s demand for quick response times, on-site solutions, and on-time complete delivery. You will also focus time on learning how to manage all sales functions for existing and prospective customers.  New business development, meeting sales goals and building key relationships with stakeholders will be fundamentals taught.

In addition, you'll visit our corporate location in Houston, TX to further network and build lasting relationships with corporate leaders and other support teams. 

Qualifications for Our Accelerated Management Program

You should be graduating this May, 2022 with at least a 3.0 GPA. In addition, you should be detail oriented with both strong leadership and team-oriented qualities. Also, you should have an entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated. 
We have opportunities throughout the US in our AMP program so you need to be flexible to relocate after completion of our 12-month program. And of course, you must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.
